# Referrals & DEVbot points

By using the bot, you will automatically earn points. You will get roughly **1 point for each dollar spent** on gas when deploying or interacting with your contract, no matter if it's through burning, airdropping or updating your token configuration. On top of that, **adding and increasing liquidity with burning enabled** will also earn you the dollar equivalent in DEVbot points.

Additionally, there is a fixed reward of **10 points for each referra**l. You can find your referral link under `Menu > Rewards`. It will automatically copy on tap and any user who uses the bot the first time through that link will qualify you for the reward.

As of now, points are simply there to track active users, but there might be benefits at some point in the future 👀

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://devbot.gitbook.io/docs/bot-overview/referrals-and-devbot-points.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
